Northeastern State says Ari-Addeeye stable after deadly clan fighting

Las Anod (HOL) — Northeastern Regional State officials said the situation in Ari-Addeeye is now stable after renewed clan fighting killed more than 20 people and left others wounded.

The deputy interior minister of Northeastern Regional State, Ali Ahmed Ali, told local media that the administration is closely monitoring the area and has deployed additional forces to help secure the town and prevent further violence.
